Tender Loving Caregivers is an online marketplace that connects families and individuals ("Clients") seeking in-home care services with independent caregivers ("Caregivers"). TLC facilitates introductions and matches between Clients and Caregivers but does not employ Caregivers directly, nor does it provide care services itself.
By using this platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. Caregivers must be legally authorized to work in the United States and located in the state of California.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, are harmful to other users or the platform.
Caregivers are required to submit a profile for review by the TLC team before being approved on the platform. While we make reasonable efforts to review caregiver profiles for quality and authenticity, TLC does not conduct formal background checks, verify credentials, or guarantee the accuracy of any information provided by Caregivers. Clients are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence before engaging any Caregiver.
Any care arrangement made through TLC is an agreement solely between the Client and the Caregiver. TLC is not a party to those arrangements and is not responsible for the performance, quality, or outcome of any care services rendered. Caregivers operate as independent contractors, not as employees of TLC.

All content on this platform — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of Tender Loving Caregivers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or any care arrangement made through it. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the amount, if any, paid by you to TLC in the twelve months preceding the claim.
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in California.
